THE QUEST

MexQuest is an expedition to raise money and awareness for the Cancer Control Unit of Moffitt Cancer Center. MexQuest will involve mountain biking across Mexico - starting in Veracruz on the Gulf of Mexico and ending at Acapulco on the Pacific Coast. During the entire expedition, we will climb the 18,700 foot Mount Orizaba, bike a total of 500 miles (including going over the Sierra Madre Mountains), and drive over 5,000 miles. There will be 6 team members and 2 crew members that will be participating in MexQuest; which will take place the first two weeks of 2004.
